Getting Married how about getting married in Las Vegas

I'm not really a traditional kind of girl, so when the time came to tie the knot, getting married in Las Vegas was the first idea that came to mind. Sure, weddings in Sin City can be over the top and even tacky. Yes, we would have to kiss the idea of a traditional church wedding and all the trimmings goodbye in favor of a themed ceremony complete with costumes and impersonators -- but that's what we wanted!

Once we had our flight reservations, the next step was to research how to go about getting married in Las Vegas. The Internet has plenty of handy dandy sites devoted to just this topic, with listings of wedding chapels, types of weddings available, and important laws governing marriage in Nevada. I found out that you have to be at least 18 in this state to get hitched without parental consent -- which is no problem for us, since we are well into our adult years.

We were happy to learn that no blood test or waiting period was required in this great state and a marriage license could be obtained for a mere $55. No wonder this place is considered the wedding capital of the world! Not only is it exceedingly simply to get hitched in the state, but you can also find a plethora of chapels available with a wide array of ceremony possibilities, which makes getting married in Las Vegas easy, quick, and loads of fun.

Learning about getting married in Las Vegas by using online resources was by far the best way to plan our special day. It was infinitely easier to scan all of these websites from home, make the appropriate reservations, and then simply fly out and show up at the predetermined destination. It would have been much harder to just go out on the Strip one day without having done any research first.

As it turned out, we found a great little chapel on the north end of the Strip that provided the perfect ceremony for our tastes, complete with all the trimmings. After the ceremony, we were able to cruise the Strip in our stretch limo to enjoy the sights and sounds of this bustling entertainment district. We spent the weekend in one of the great luxury hotels that offered plenty of amenities for honeymoon couples just like us. Getting married in Las Vegas was definitely the way to go!

Thank goodness we found all of the information about getting married in Las Vegas online, so we could book all of our necessary arrangements ahead of time. This allowed us to enjoy our whirlwind weekend to the fullest, without having to worry about whether all of the little details would come together at the last minute. Getting married in Las Vegas turned out to be a uniquely romantic and absolutely unforgettable experience!
